About Us

Chirton Engineering, based in North Shields, in the Northeast of England, was founded in 2003.

Operating from a 49,000 sqft facility with regular investments in new machines and equipment, Chirton Engineering is well placed to support your projects whether it’s for small batches, serial production, project-based requirements or research and development (R&D) programmes requiring technical input.

Chirton specialises in complex machining of exotic materials such as Inconel, Super Duplex, Invar, Hastelloy, Kovar, Monel, along with a wide range of other materials and castings, backed by full traceability and supporting quality documentation. These capabilities position us well to serve our key sectors: Oil and Gas, Subsea, Defence and Aerospace, Nuclear, Renewables and Automotive.
